St. Nicholas International School team has completed THE WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP competition – A TEAM-BASED ACADEMIC competition 2019 on August 19th with remarkable individual and team results.
In the Global Round in Darling Harbor, Sydney, the three members excelled in winning a total of 12 gold medals and 7 individual silver medals .
Nguyen Quynh Phuong with 1 Silver medal in Debate and 1 Silver medal in Arts
Van Tuan Nam with 1 Gold medal in Science, 2 Silver medals in Social and Writing
In particular, Tran Thanh Hung has won 11 Gold medals and 3 Silver medals for Writing, Debate and School Top Scholar…. , ranked 9th in the TOP 10 to receive the honor trophy and is the highest ranked Vietnamese student on the final table of the competition.
Along with these individual prizes, St. Nicholas International School was also delighted that the team brought in Gold medal of Debate, Gold medal of Scholar Bowl, and received the Silver medal of Global Round and qualified for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University, USA.
The World Scholar’s Cup competition is a prestigious international competition that teachers and students of St. Nicholas International School had the opportunity to experiment and express themselves with knowledge in different fields.
